    Craniosacral Therapy

Using precise techniques and light touch, the practitioner assesses the flow of cerebrospinal fluid and invites change in order to restore harmony. This not only affects structural change but has much wider healing implications, allowing one to drift into a meditative space while making space for the body to unwind fascial tension in a subtle yet powerful way. Craniosacral Therapy works to support overall health in the body by increasing physical vitality, emotional stability, and optimal well being.

    Somatic Practices

Empower your healing journey and learn to access your internal body wisdom, release the binds of trauma, and build resilience for yourself and others.

While traditional therapy focuses on verbal processing and cognitive meaning making, a somatic approach to healing trauma invites the individual into the wisdom of their body as the intuitive place of healing and well-being. Somatic Practices offer a paradigm shift, situating the individual as the expert of their own journey of healing, transformation, and wellbeing.

Based on the foundational principle that healing and integration happens through our bodies' primal language of movement, breath, and sensation somatic-based approaches restore well-being through the power of body awareness. Access an internal source of wisdom to guide the healing process and build resilience.

    Structural Integration

Structural Integration is a form of bodywork that reorganizes the connective tissues, called fascia, that permeate the entire body.

The body is inherently a system of seamless networks of tissues rather than a collection of separate parts. These connective tissues surround, support and penetrate all of the muscles, bones, nerves and organs.

Structural Integration works on this web-like complex of connective tissues to release, realign and balance the whole body, thus potentially resolving discomfort, reducing compensations and alleviating pain.

Structural Integration aims to restore flexibility, revitalize your energy and leave you feeling more comfortable and spacious in your body.

    Myofascial Release

During myofascial release therapy, light pressure is applied by hand to find myofascial areas that feel stiff instead of elastic and movable. These stiff areas of fascia limit muscle and joint movement, which can play a part in widespread muscle pain.

The technique involves accessing the tight fascia and slowly moving it in order to release areas of tightness and adhesions.

    Manual Ligament Therapy

Manual Ligament Therapy is a manual therapy technique utilizing the sensory qualities of ligaments to correct muscular imbalance and dysfunction.

MLT contributes to the healing process of ligaments and also uses the influence of ligaments on connective tissue to quickly relax hypertonic muscles, tendons and fascia. It allows a speedy resolution for simple physical impairments and speeds up the healing process in more difficult and complex conditions.

MLT addresses the neurology to help the musculoskeletal system function more smoothly.

Trigger point therapy is a soft-tissue treatment that helps release tense, painful knots in your muscles and fascia (web of connective tissue) that often refer pain to another part of the body.

Components of trigger point therapy may include sustained pressure, posture and movement correction.

    Reiki

Reiki means "universal life energy." It's an ancient healing method that manipulates energy flow in the body. Reiki practitioners believe there is an energy force in and around the body. We believe that there is a flow of energy between the reiki practitioner and the receiver of the treatment.

Reiki is a technique that uses energy force to reduce stress and anxiety and encourage relaxation. The method uses gentle touch and placement for healing and tries to improve balance in your body. It does not treat conditions on its own but can be used to support traditional treatments you may receive.

  • Kinesiology Taping

K-tape, also known as kinesiology tape, is a thin, flexible, elastic tape used to support muscles, ligaments, and tendons. It's often used to:

    Relieve pain

    Reduce swelling and inflammation

    Improve movement efficiency

    Prevent injury

    Speed up recovery from injuries

K-tape is made from a breathable, stretchable material, usually cotton or a cotton blend. It's designed to provide just enough pressure and support to help muscles and tissues become stronger. The tape sticks to the skin with a water- and sweat-proof adhesive, and can stay in place for up to four days.
