Using precise techniques and light touch, the practitioner assesses the flow of cerebrospinal fluid and invites change in order to restore harmony. This not only affects structural change but has much wider healing implications, allowing one to drift into a meditative space while making space for the body to unwind fascial tension in a subtle yet powerful way. Craniosacral Therapy works to support overall health in the body by increasing physical vitality, emotional stability, and optimal well being.

During myofascial release therapy, light pressure is applied by hand to find myofascial areas that feel stiff instead of elastic and movable. These stiff areas of fascia limit muscle and joint movement, which can play a part in widespread muscle pain.
The technique involves accessing the tight fascia and slowly moving it in order to release areas of tightness and adhesions.

Structural Integration is a form of bodywork that reorganizes the connective tissues, called fascia, that permeate the entire body.
The body is inherently a system of seamless networks of tissues rather than a collection of separate parts. These connective tissues surround, support and penetrate all of the muscles, bones, nerves and organs.
Structural Integration works on this web-like complex of connective tissues to release, realign and balance the whole body, thus potentially resolving discomfort, reducing compensations and alleviating pain.
Structural Integration aims to restore flexibility, revitalize your energy and leave you feeling more comfortable and spacious in your body.

Manual Ligament Therapy is a manual therapy technique utilizing the sensory qualities of ligaments to correct muscular imbalance and dysfunction.
MLT contributes to the healing process of ligaments and also uses the influence of ligaments on connective tissue to quickly relax hypertonic muscles, tendons and fascia. It allows a speedy resolution for simple physical impairments and speeds up the healing process in more difficult and complex conditions.
MLT addresses the neurology to help the musculoskeletal system function more smoothly.

Trigger point therapy is a soft-tissue treatment that helps release tense, painful knots in your muscles and fascia (web of connective tissue) that often refer pain to another part of the body.
Components of trigger point therapy may include sustained pressure, posture and movement correction.

Reiki means "universal life energy." It's an ancient healing method that manipulates energy flow in the body. Reiki practitioners believe there is an energy force in and around the body. We believe that there is a flow of energy between the reiki practitioner and the receiver of the treatment.
Reiki is a technique that uses energy force to reduce stress and anxiety and encourage relaxation. The method uses gentle touch and placement for healing and tries to improve balance in your body. It does not treat conditions on its own but can be used to support traditional treatments you may receive.

I am trained in various energetic modalities (Reiki, Acupressure, & Pranic Energy Healing) where the quantity and quality of your life force energy (chi, or prana) is able to be measured and any blockages in the flow of vital energy can be found and released while also shoring up your reserves and re-establishing vital connections for future health and growth.
The ancients believed that life force energy was the driving factor behind our vitality and that all disease could be linked to energetic kinks in our meridians that are blocking the natural flow of cosmic energy within and around us. Think Acupuncture - but without the needles!
Pranic Energy Healing, Reiki, and Acupressure can all be used to even out this flow-creating nervous system regulation, ease, grace, and gentle relaxation that can, sometimes immediately, and sometimes over time, lead to healing of the subtle body which in turn feeds and sustains our mental and emotional health as well as our physical bodies.

Gentle prenatal massage to support you throughout your pregnancy and postpartum massage to help you integrate your experiences after birth and entering into motherhood.
This kind of care can be so foundational for easing the big changes your body goes through during pregnancy and the birthing process.
Postpartum bodywork can also focus on bringing your core back into position - and working with cesarean scar tissue if this was part of your experience.
Mama’s deserve all the love and care as they navigate the beauty and challenges of birthing life into the world and these are truly some of my favorite ways of being in service.

Lymphatic Breast Massage is a bodywork modality in which the global breast tissue is palpated for areas of density and the lymphatic fluid is moved towards lymph nodes and ducts allowing areas of density to oftentimes reduce over time. I believe this to be a necessary aspect of self care for every woman. This is a deeply therapeutic practice that can be used as a prevention tool for breast cancer. In this session we use special herbal oils to help with lymph drainage and edema.
-
The natural, immune boosting movement and flow of lymphatic fluid in the body is the primary focus in this modality. Herbal oil and wood or stone gua sha tools can be used to help encourage circulation, break down scar tissue, and clear stagnant fluid and energy.
-
Abdominal work and visceral manipulation in which digestive issues are addressed through gentle touch following the flow of the digestive tract and internal organs are accessed and gently palpated to enhance vitality.
Connect deeply with your core, the place within you that digests food, emotions, and fuels your internal fire and passion.
-
Connect deeply with your wombspace, the place within you that creates life, art, and receptivity. Ancient Yucateca Maya techniques in the tradition of Mama Beatrice Waight for visceral manipulation of the womb will be used if the womb is found to be out of optimal position. We will also access the uterine ligaments with an aim to create more tonacity.
The realignment of the uterus can feel like pure freedom, the embodiment of your lived truth. Your womb contains many keys - this modality can help you to access them.
